hi! I want to become a freelance leasing property manager on the Florida panhandle. Basically I will rent peoples’ condos and beach houses out for them, make sure they are clean, and arrange maintenance and equipment like that.
Does anyone know:
How/what percentage I get paid (ie 10% of the leasing rate or cleaning fees, etc)?
Do I need any additional certificates (I have a BA in Bus Admin/Marketing)?
What laws go along with this?
Will the renter pay me directly then I pay the title-holder or vice-versa?

I’m looking into purchasing a property to rent out to tenants… I know the appeal rate will be higher on a leasing, but how much higher? Also, is the insurance cost higher or lower than regular homeowners insurance?

I chose to rent my place out that I was living in to someone in October, 2006. When I calculate the Mortgage Appeal for the leasing do I just calculate the appeal paid during October through December of 2006 since those are the months I rented the property out?

I have a leasing property that i’m trying to get rented… I want to know what works for you.

My parents own a leasing house that they rent out. 2 years ago there was an ancient self who rented with younger family members. The ancient self fell down the stairs and was injured. That family is now suing my parents. The lawsuit will not be settled for at least another 2 years. If my parents try to sell the house before this is resolved, what are the implications for the new buyer of the property with accept to the lawsuit and with accept to the new buyer getting insurance. Will the lawsuit stay on the house or stay on my parents only? Will the new buyer be able to get insurance or will they face restrictions?

I have a leasing property and want to know what percentage the tax is on captial gaines if I were to sell my property. I was thought it is 15% am I incorrect?
