how many tasks is it realistic to expect 1 inexperienced, part time person to do in Property Management?
This is all new to me. I’m Managing about 50 units. and I can only work about 20 hours a week. I hire out Maintenance. Other than that I’m expected to do everything, and i mean everything. Does this even sound possible?
Entirely doable. Managing up to about 100 units on a part-time basis is honestly common. Either get up to speed urgently, or find another job. Otherwise, I’d be glad to take over the job, and so would tens of thousands of other people.
Yes it is. It is not that hard to do. The toughest and most hectic part of the month is the first when rent comes due.Other than that there is the occasional new lease or lease renewal and from time to time some type of problem or question will rise.But, from experience, let me advice you not to start dependability the make equipped’s of empty apartments.This is something that needs to be done by maintenance.
