How does a complex get rid of the property management company?

Many in our twnhse community are fed up w/the mgmt. co. How do we place another in place?

I need a step by step, please. And thank you in advance.
This is a community made up of 90+ twnhses and maybe 5 are rented out. I am very much interested in jj’s answer but need details

hire a local atty. i may come down to that plus the atty will look out for your best.

You can not exchange the mgmt co. Only the title-holder can . enter to them, or organize a petition, and submit it to them. be specific about your complaints, but dont be the only one who writes a complaint. get as many involved as possible.excellent luck.

If you are the owners, look at the managment covenant that your association officers signed with the management company. This will tell you the circumstances under which you can cancel the contract.

If you are renters, find out who the owners are. Contact them & express your concerns. You can find out who the owners are by vacant to your county clerk & recorder’s office (or an equivalent government official).

Enter a letter to the Property Title-holder, outlining, all of the problems and the other reasons, tenants want the current management company “removed,” and replaced by a new management company.

Your complaint letter must be very detailed. Your reasons must be clear and concise. You can’t say “We don’t like the current management.”

I am a ex- Property Manager. I became a Property Manager, because I complained to the Property Title-holder about poor management. The title-holder eventually gave me the job.
