How can I get my rental property documents again after I lost them in fire?
I have two rental property in GA. I live in CA, and I lost all the documents in the fire. One of property is paid off, and the other one is still paying. Only document I have is payment slip mailed to me every month. I think I need to get copies of all the documents including deed of trust. How can I get it? Please share info.
Go to the office of the real property regulatory office and request for a reconstitution of your properties citing fire as the cause for the loss of your documents.
