Generally speaking; what permits do i need if I’m planning to flip a house?
I’m interested in buying, living in, and gradually flipping a certain house. Im trying to figure how pricey it would be. The flip would probably include adding at least one room and a deck, and extensive work inside. Can i do the plumbing and electrical myself if its not major and i learn how?
The permits depend on the city or county you live in. We just added a room to our house and needed building, electrical and plumbing permits. Not all that pricey but they add up. I did the plumbing and electrical myself but it had to be inspected by a licensed plumber and electrician before I may possibly accurate the walls up. The best thing to do is call you local housing authority or county bulding code enforcement and find out the requirements for your area.
