I am looking to buy some rental property and trying to figure out how to determain what to rent them out for. How can I determain the rent cost of the rental property.

We recently moved and because we were unable to sell our home, we decided to rent it. We were unable to refinance at the interest rate we wanted because it is now a rental property. We would like to lower our monthly payment, but have heard that many banks won’t give you a decent rate on a rental. Any ideas?

I have 2 rental properties with the same bank. I’m thinking to foreclose in one of them and keep the other for longer.How does it effect my second rental property and more importantly, does it effect my primary residential property or my bank accounts?

Im looking at buying a rental property in a town in Canada. Ive previously bought two houses but here but they were much newer.

This house was built in the 1930’s. What things should I be looking at ?? How can I spot potential trouble before putting a bid in. If we do decided to place a bid we will get a house inspection but I really want to know what I can look for as red flags as not to waste money on a house inspector before we place a bid.

I have a rental property. My contract with my tenants says they are in charge of maintaining the pool and yard. My tenants hired an unlicensed pool guy on their own. Supposedly they did not pay this person for 3 months of service. The last service was in June of this year. I just received a letter that a lien was placed on my property for a total of $182.50. From the unlicencsed pool guy? What a joke. Is this lien valid?

I have a rental property which was converted from my primary residence. I plan to rent it out for a long time. So by the time that I want to sell it (probably many years later), can I move back to the house to converted it back to primary residence to avoid the tax? can I just leave it empty (noy move in it) for 2 years to avoid the tax?

if you buy a rental property and own it for 2 years do you still pay capital gain tax on the sell after 2 years? Or since it is a rental will you always pay capital gains tax no matter how long you own it? And the last question is if you do have to capital gain tax is it taxed at 15% or at your ordinary income tax bracket?

Hi. My husband might have no choice but to foreclose on a rental property. We live in a community property state (California). He purchased this property & incurred the liens against the property since before we were married. Will his foreclosure affect my credit?

i heard somewhere to own a rental property, one must first be an AZ resident for two years……….any truth to that?
